Keeping Your Smile
We’re proud of our patients’ smiles, and we want them to be proud of them too. If that means a little extra work, we’re going to make sure we show them how to do it.
Hygiene services
We recommend that patients make regular use of our hygienists. They’ll maintain and care for your teeth, to help you avoid major procedures coming up too often. They’re not too scary, we promise!
How to brush
We don’t want to sound like your mum, but make sure you do this twice a day, with a reputable, fluoridated toothpaste brand. If you need help on technique, or choosing the proper equipment, we’re happy to oblige.
Cleaning your tongue
Yes, it’s boring, but it’s important to brush here too. It helps get rid of a load of harmful bacteria, and it’ll make sure your lovely smile isn’t ruined by bad breath.
Flossing
Brushing is only half the battle. It’s important to floss properly at least three times a week, however awkward it may feel at first, to get rid of debris between the teeth and keep your gums as happy as your teeth.
Straight Talking
Our teeth serve many functions. A smile that is well-aligned is also healthy. Straight teeth are easy to keep clean, free of harmful plaque that causes decay and gum disease. Well aligned teeth and jaws provide optimal function. Tooth wear is greatly reduced, and the jaw joints are allowed to function with less stress and greater comfort.
